Nami Concours 2015: an International Illustration Competition

An inside look at jury proceedings & introduction of winners selected from 1330 participants from 71 countries.
Participants include Junko Yokota (Jury President), Anastasia Arkhipova (Jury Member), Marcelo Pimentel (Grand Prix Winner), 
Sonja Danowski (Golden Island Winner), Fred Minn (Concours Director). 

Nami Island, the official sponsor of IBBY Hans Christian Andersen Awards, initiated 'NAMI CONCOURS' to give picture book
illustrators opportunities to feature their work.

The Second Concours in 2015 received 1330 entries from 71 countries, from which 94 winners were selected.  In this session, jury 
president will describe the process, winner will be interviewed, and the Organizing Committee will share the infomation about 
participation in NAMI CONCOURS 2017.

※ Nami Island will be presented at Author's cafe(Hall 29/30), All are welcome to visit our stand and to see the initiatives/activities we are doing!
