NAMI CONCOURS 2013: An Inside Look at Jury Proceedings, Introduction of Winners & Future Directions
Nami Island, the official sponsor of IBBY Hans Christian Andersen Awards, initiated 'NAMI CONCOURS' to give picture book illustrators opportunities to feature their work.
The first Concours in 2013 received 619 entries from 42 countries, from which 29 winners were selected.
In this session, jurors will describe the process, winners will be interviewed,
and the Organizing Committee will share the future directions of NAMI CONCOURS 2015.
Participants include Kang Woo-hyon (President, Nami Island International Children's Book Festival), Junko Yokota(Jury President), Roger Mello (Jury Member), Sonja Danowski(Golden Island Winner), David Pinto(Special Prize Winner), Eva Montanari(Special Prize Winner), Nazli Tahvili (Speicial Prize Winner) and Eunmi Kim (Encouragement Prize Winner).
※ Nami Island will be presented at Pad. 29 Stand A/36, All are welcome to visit our stand and to see the initiatives/activities we are doing! Moreover, we are interested in listening to what you are doing too!
